Milan, Furlani working to protect Reijnders: salary doubled
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

In the eyes of Milan fans, there is still the splendid brace scored by Reijnders against Bruges. A special night, a Champions League night. Tijjani has emerged in the top continental club competition, and now he doesn’t want to stop anymore. Because his football is special and deserves to find fulfillment in the matches that matter more than the others.

The love story between Milan and Reijnders is going swimmingly. The entire Rossoneri environment, from the management to the technical staff, adores the Dutch midfielder for his technical quality and the extraordinary willingness to work offered from day one. In recent days, a first exploratory contract took place between Furlani and the 26-year-old’s agent to begin setting up negotiations for the renewal of the contract expiring in 2028.

The dialogue between Tijjani’s entourage and Milan will continue especially in the Spring with the idea of reaching an agreement that can enhance the growth shown by the former Az. And there should be no problems on the economic aspect: Reijnders currently receives a salary of 1.6 million euros. From the club in via Aldo Rossi, there have been openings to the possibility of doubling the current salary in order to fully reward a player who, in the space of 15 months, has carved out a leading role within the team. With his stellar performances on the pitch, Reijnders has earned a significant increase in his compensation, with his new contract set to see his salary doubled to 3.2 million euros. The Rossoneri are determined to ensure that their prized midfielder stays at the helm of the team for the long haul, and it appears they are willing to make significant financial sacrifices to make it happen. The potential deal would see Reijnders receive a significant pay rise, one that would put him among the top earners at the club.
